Soumil Week 9: AI's Potential

Have you ever wondered what artificial intelligence is capable of in the next few coming years or how much it will develop in the next few coming years? We have all used AI powered assistance like Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa, but these AI models are very limited and can only speak with us. When I talk about artificial intelligence I actually mean things like What Elon Musk just recently showed us in an auction. The Tesla robot which can talk and do human activities and Elon Musk himself said that AI is dangerous and if it gains full capability god knows what will happen. I have always been into discovering stuff related to AI because there is lots to be discovered if you think about it in a different way. It's a whole new era of designing stuff. In self-driving cars it predicts traffic patterns even creative fields, once thought untouchable by machines, are now seen in AI generated arts, music and literature also in medicine, AI diagnoses diseases faster than doctors now imagine what it would do later on in the future, probably taking their job over and diagnosing patients itself? Old movies such as Matrix show us the power of AI where a chip is installed in your brain through a medicine and when you take full control over it you come up with special abilities even the movie control these movies all have special examples that AI could do if we gain full control over it or it gains full control over us the limits and everything is explained in these movies. As we stand now, AI's potential is far greater than you can think. One thing is clear: the future once imagined is no longer a distant dream.   I have to say, after hearing all the warnings, screaming, and sobbing about 11th grade being the worst high school experience since forever, I totally agree. Ruhi Week 16 - Happy Birthday to Me

  Birthdays have always been a special time for me. Since my first birthday, my parents have gone above and beyond to make the day the best it can be. The earliest I can remember is my second birthday celebrated in Chicago at Jumps and Jiggles (their version of Pump It Up) with my other two year old friends. Even though I can barely remember what happened myself, the videos I see now are a great reminder of the fun that my parents enabled me to have. The most recent birthday I celebrated was my seventeenth birthday in Dubai. The day of, my family and I went to a waterpark which is one of my favorite places just because it's a more fun version of a regular amusement park. After that, we met my dad's old college friend's family and I made my first international friend: their daughter who is also named Ruhi. It always comes at the worst times, potentially ruining a great day or making an already bad day worse. It’s something so horrible that I would never wish it upon my worst enemy. Everything about it feels disgusting, from the sudden drop in your stomach to the freshly born anxiety, taking its first steps in your worried mind. And to make matters worse, there’s often nothing you can do about it. It is almost always too late to stop the oncoming train wreck that is the aftermath of the whole ordeal.
